Most service jobs, including house calls, are charged a flat $35/hour rate for actual time spent on your project. This means that if your project takes six hours to complete due to long waiting periods (for example, recovering a large capacity hard drive can take as long as a week of continuous run time while the recovery tools perform analysis), you don't spend six hours' worth of money - only actual time spent working is charged.
